Bruce is very sweet once he relaxes. He loves laying along your side at night and rolls onto his side pretty much any time to speak to him, hence why all of his pics are of him laying down. He has never tried to bite or scratch, even when very scared.
Bruce is pretty shy for a couple of weeks in a new environment so needs a quiet foster home where he will be kept in one room while he adjusts. He is jumpy and doesn't allow restraint or being held so patience will be keying earning his trust. He needs to be an only cat (super bully with other cats unless they just completely ignore him or stand up to him) Seems fine with calm dogs, scared of kids. He loves neck and chin scratches and even allows belly rubs.
Bruce is very healthy and robust. He is about 7-8 years old, by my calculations (he was estimated to be 2-3 when he was adopted 5 years ago). He is missing all of his teeth. We believe he must have lost them over the last 5 years due to stomatitis. He eats dry food just fine and also loves canned food. He is great about using the box and his cardboard scratch pad.
Bruce is not a Demi's resident, but please let us know if you are interesting in meeting him and we will connect you with his foster! He was adopted through a rescue that closed awhile back and was returned due to not getting along with the other cats.
